Ottawa Home-Based Seamstress Wanted!

Hello!

As most of you know, my name is Paige Fortin, and I am the head designer and Corsetiere behind Bodicious Corsets. My business specializes in custom corsetry and burlesque fashions, as well as couture gowns for weddings, prom, and more. The business took off two years ago, and being the one woman behind it all, I did not expect it to grow so fast! My client base has multiplied greatly, so I now need some extra hands.

I’m looking for a seamstress who knows their way about Corset making, or who has the will and capacity to learn. You must have at least 2 years experience working in your field, and a portfolio of your best work. Training would take place in my home, until you are ready to spread your wings and work from your own home or studio.

You would be working on contract, handling the easier projects at first and working your way up from there. Payment will be decided on a project by project basis.

    Hello Paige Fortin,
    Perhaps you didn’t find seamstress to help you.I’d like to assist you.
    I always want to create prom,wedding dresses and corsets but never did.I read a lot about how to do it. But usualy working with regular fabrics and sew everyday clothing. I sew chiffon and other fine fabrics, stretch fabric as well.
    I sew since I was 12. I had a lot of projects since then. I always try to do my best and working on details.
    I live in Gatineau. Perhaps you located not so far from my place.
    Would like to give me some small or easiest progect to do and then see my work? Also I can show mine.
